Module 5 - Measure of Center and Circle Graphs
Students may use a calculator for this module
Mission Statement: I can calculate the measure of center as a
balance point. I can determine the effect on measures of center when
a single value is added, changed, or deleted. I can interpret data
from a circle graph. I can compare data in a circle graph to that in a
bar graph, line graph, or pictograph.
Directions: Students should complete the following activities by June 11,
2020. All assignments will also be listed on Google Classroom.
❏ Video and Notes on Mean and Circle Graphs - Watch video, read
through the notes and complete any additional problems that were
not completed.
❏ Learning Activity #1 - Go to Study Island. Click on “At-Home
Learning: Measure of Center”. Complete with an 80% or higher.
❏ Learning Activity #2 - Login to Clever and go to Flocabulary. Under
the assignment tab, Mean, Median, Mode. Click to watch the video,
complete “Vocabulary Game, Read and Respond, and “Quiz.”
❏ Learning Activity #3 - Login to Google Classroom and complete the
Measure of Center Break Out.

Module 4 - Geometry
**A formula sheet and a calculator should be used.
Mission Statement: I can calculate the area and perimeter of squares,
rectangles, and triangles and the area and circumference of a circle
by using the correct formula. I can determine congruent polygons
based on the measure of their sides and/or angles.

Directions: Students should complete the following activities by May 29,
2020. All assignments will also be listed on Google Classroom.

❏ Video and Notes on Geometry - Watch video, read through the notes
and complete any additional problems that were not completed.
❏ Learning Activity #1 - Go to Study Island. Click on “At-Home

**This unit should be completed without the use of a calculator.
Mission Statement: I can find equivalent values by determining
fractions, decimals, and percents relationships.
Directions: Students should complete the following activities by May 15,
2020. All assignments will also be listed on Google Classroom.

complete any additional problems that were not completed.
❏ Learning Activity #1 - Go to Study Island. Click on “At-Home
Learning: FDP”. Complete the practice for Convert Fractions and
Decimals until you reach a score of 70% or higher.

can compare ratios by finding equivalent fractions. I can write and
solve proportions by determining the relationship between the two
ratios.
Directions: Students should complete the following activities by May 1,
