A Message From the Principal Update 6/5/2020
Dear Moore Families,
We hope that you and your family are well. Below are some important pieces of information that we want to share with you.
When you come to the school to pick up locker belongings, please enter the parking lot by the student drop-off/pick-up loop in front of the school and proceed towards the entrance to the gym. School personnel will be there to assist in directing traffic. When you arrive to the gym-side of the school, you will be met by Moore staff members. They will ask for the student name, your name, and Homeroom Teacher. A Moore staff member will then bring out the bag of materials (possibly 2 bags if there were belongings in both the gym locker room and their normal locker). A box will be available to places library books and other school materials. You will then exit the parking lot on the gym side of the building.
To access the TylerSIS Parent Portal, parents need a username (email address) and a password. If you do not already have access to the Parent Portal, please call the school (phone: 804-733-2740) next week so we can set up your access. Any items posted to the TylerSIS Parent Portal are easily accessible to parents at any time when they need to refer to them. You don’t have to keep up with a paper copies of documents like report cards. If you need a paper copy, you can print it anytime and as many times as you need.
Again, please contact us at the above number next week if you need access to the TylerSIS Parent Portal. Reminder: you will need an email address to access the portal, so if you do not already have one, please set up one prior to calling the school
The Moore teachers and staff want to thank you for the support and patience as we worked together through this challenging time. We wish you a relaxing and restful summer break.
Thank you and please stay safe!
